A bit about me...
A bit about me...
Hi, I'm Cat, a New Jersey native, on a mission to experience everything that is humanly possible.
I have gone between full-time and part-time traveling over the past 5 years and have been to over 60 countries, 35 states, lived in Israel, Malta, Japan, and Austria, and am currently vanlifing USA!
My experiences have brought me to traversing across the Himalaya to living in the jungles of Myanmar to learning KungFu in a Shaolin Temple. I have been on dozens of flights, hitchhiked with 100's of strangers, and walked an untold amount of miles at some of the most iconic places in the world. Check out my full bucketlist here

Blast to the Past
At 19, I left my straight and narrow path, setting out with my too much luggage, to "find myself" by traveling the world. Little did I know that that gap year would change the course of my life forever.
I ditched the clothing hoard and the nail art, for a backpack and a camera, and have been on the road any chance I could get.
Current
2021: Finally at another crossroads between relative normalcy and NomadiCation, I quit my corporate consulting job and am selling everything, including my beloved van home, to once again pursue my dreams...full-time.
Some goals for the next years:
- Traverse across Mongolia on horseback
- Hitchhike across Central Asia
- Walk across Iceland
-Learn Ice Climbing in Nepal
-Learn to whitewater kayak down a "small" waterfall
-Become a pupil again at a KungFu temple for 6 months

The Meaning Behind "Nomadicated"
I have accepted that travel and the adrenaline rush I get from the unknown will forever be a part of my life. As much as "traveling" in the name of experience is filled with beauty and joy, it is also filled with hardship. That mountaintop view did take 5 days of hiking in -20 degree weather, there have been some big bugs in some sketchy hotels and along the way, some odd, odd people.
Nomadicated: The Dedication to being a Nomad.
Bonus: My nickname is Cat and it just so happens to be there too.
Traveling is my passion and I just want to be able to share information to make it easier for the next soul and inspire to take a leap.
It is never too late to begin, and it is never too early to start. I hope this site will inspire you to plan some of your own adventures, because I don't know about you, but I want future generations to think "Damn, she's a badass grandma!"
